John Jenkins Memorial Match - 14th June 2026

Last Sunday, the Swansea Bowling Association representative team were invited to play Swansea Bowls Club in the annual John Jenkins Memorial Match.

Fortunately, the weather was kind and the match was played in bright sunshine on an excellent surface. The Association was represented by rinks kindly provided by Clyne Valley, Coedgwilym, Dunvant Druids, Sketty, Waunarlwydd & a Management rink.

The match was played in a wonderful sportsmanlike manner and a subsequent buffet followed with an hour or 2 of social interaction. The John Jenkins trophy was presented to Huw Richards the Captain for the day by the Swansea Captain Gill Gregory.

We feel it important to continue this excellent fixture thus always remembering our dearly loved past President John.
